  • Yay for Jyoyo and Erin!!!!

I don't have much time for a reply, but I just wanted to share something kinda stupid and wasteful I just did I mas full on making this recipe out of the SBD book (vanilla custards) and over halfway through I realized that I was looking at the wrong recipe I had to wash up and start all over, and now I have a mixture of stuff that I need to figure out something to do with it and the custards are in the oven
  • Good afternoon, ladies. Sorry I've been absent the past few days. I've been working all weekend and had no access to my wireless card at work due to one of the girls on our plan going over the gigabyte allowance (AGAIN). Been really busy. Saturday night at work was CRAZY, but we finally made it through the weekend. Today and tomorrow I'll be cleaning out my closets, the garage, and the sunroom to find items to put in my yard sale this Saturday. This weekend I hope to be swimming in money...regular paycheck, fair paycheck, and yard sale money. Woot woot!!! I hope to have my bike out of layaway on Friday or Saturday afternoon at the latest...time to put it to use!!!

Talked to my bestfriend earlier today and we made plans for me to come down to her daughter's football game the weekend after Halloween. I'm so excited...I haven't seen her since the 4th of July weekend!!! I've been wanting to make one of her games this season and now I finally get the chance. Yay!!!

Oh...and my dawgs won another game this weekend. YAY!!!

Hope all you ladies are having a wonderful day.
  • Glad u're back.
  • Whoa! Lot's of news in the thread today. I don't have time to reply to every post but I enjoyed reading each of them.

Erin, it's a lousy way to loose weight - but congratulations.
    Yjojo, hooray!

Natasha, you deserve to be "swimming in money" - you've been working so hard. How exciting that you'll be riding that bike soon!

After supper tonight Fergie and I made an adult size hula hoop. I had a great time playing around with it! I can't do any of the cool tricks I found on youtube, (I dont' think I'll ever be able too), but after about half an hour I could keep the hoop going through about a full song without dropping it. An amazing accomplishment for an old dog like me. Hooping isn't going to take the place of my walks or my wii fit, but it sure is fun. I'm hoping it will "whittle my waist" a little bit, too.
  • FoodObsessed - Thanks!!! Hope you made it through the memorial service okay. *hugs*

Heidi58 - Awww, thanks. I feel blessed to enjoy the job that I do...so the extra money is just the icing on the SB-friendly cake. I am SUPER excited about the bike, though!!! Congratulations on the hula hoop. I haven't hula-hooped in years and don't think I'd be able to get it to stay up for an entire song after 30 DAYS much less 30 minutes, LOL!!! Good for you!!!

Alright...back to cleaning out my closets. I've got a pile of clothes about 3 feet high already. Some plus-sized woman is going to be VERY lucky this Saturday!!!
