Uh-Oh Day 3 / Cravings

  • Hello Everyone.

    Today is my 3rd day on the SBD and the cravings are here. Here comes the challenge, whoa!! I want toast, bacon (more than the allowed 2 slices per day) and hashbrowns....but NO WAY...I will defeat these cravings and celebrate tonight with a workout on the Wii...WATCH ME!

  • You can do it. You can get past the cravings. The way I made it through the cravings was to make sure my meals were extra yummy. I really made sure I had things on plan that I really liked.

  • Hold on, BelieveInT, and just work through it. You can do it! Once you get through today, tomorrow will be a lot easier.

  • You will be SO PROUD of yourself if you hold off on those cravings today...and in a couple of days, will be AMAZED at how the cravings are gone!!

  • You can do it! And you will be glad you did!
  • You can do it!! Look through the phase 1 recipes and find stuff that really appeals to you. Having yummy "legal" food will help you through the cravings.
  • Eat plenty of veggies and OP food every 3 hours or so, so you're at least not "hungry". I make a cup of hot tea and that takes the edge off some times. Hang in there!
  • Oven Roasted veggies for dinner was what got us through those cravings. Roasted onions taste just about like potato chips. That and roasted chick peas.

    Keeping busy helps, as well as a stash of celery and Laughing Cow.
