Menu advice

  • Good Morning. My first week on SB (ever). So...just want you to check to see how my days are...

    B Egg Whites with veggies (1 cup about) sauteed in Olive oil with 1/2c refried beans and 1 TB reduced fat shredded cheese
    S 1/2 c lowfat plain yogurt with splenda and a dash of vanilla
    L LG salad (maybe 4 cups romaine and iceburg, peppers and cucs) with 1 T low fat Feta and Fannies Italian (no sugar added) low fat, low sodium deli turkey
    S handful of nuts and string cheese
    D chicken breast 1 c cannelini bean casserole (thanks for the recipe, by the way) and 2 c cabbage and onions
    S jello

    Okay....that was yesterday....any advice/critique is openly invited.

  • to The Beach, Kmac. Your menu looks pretty good to me although you need more dairy but the other chickies may have suggestions.

    Your menu looks really good to me, plenty of veggies, beans and dairy with lean proteins. Now I have to go look for that casserole. I love cannelini beans
  • Thanks so much. Dairy...yup. I'll add the second serving!! The first day I had 2 (one with SF hot chocolate, is that bad?). I don't like plain milk so I'm working on it.
