Good morning, everyone! It's almost the afternoon, really. Sigh.
Cyndi: Hi! Glad you got here so early!! Someone needs to give Ruth and Cottage a run for their money some days!
Cottage: I hope your head cold is clearing up! I'm sure the girls had fun playing their "bored" games, even if you didn't.

Have a nice day.
Ruth: Poor Disney; just to anxious to get places, isn't she?

I hope the new volunteer project doesn't spread you too thin, but I'm sure you'll enjoy doing something for a new age group. Hope you get your knees some rest!
Skinnybride: Hi! Hope you enjoyed your cuppa and are having a nice day!
Chelby: Oooh...Lake Charles and all that food sounds divine! My first vacation without my parents (went with a friends' family) was to Lake Charles and it is still one of my best memories. It was so much fun! (PS: My grandmother is from Okinawa and my mother was born there while my grandfather was stationed there!)
MomPOM:
Have a great afternoon!
Schmoodle:
I'm sorry about you and the goose. It's always a bummer to hit an animal in your vehicle. Hope you and DD are doing better! Great news from your friend! I hope they do some more scans to figure out what happened or where, if there was one, the mistake was made.
Stacy: Sorry you and your little one aren't feeling well. I hope you both get better soon!
Mizki: Hi! Welcome to the group! I look forward to getting to know you better!
Me: Well, the last day of my inspections in the remote areas of the county are done. Thank goodness. I could probably stand to go another day, but we're right up against our deadline and we would be rushing and pushing it to get it all done. I got into the office on time this morning and have been busy getting paperwork and the like together for next week. 3 of my appraisers and I are headed to Austin again to take our big exam that is the culmination of all the classes we've taken the past two years. After that, there's four more week-long courses and a final exam that covers EVERYTHING! (It's an 8-hour exam.) It's going to be tough, but I'll be a Registered Professional Appraiser after all of it. That will make me pretty marketable as long as our current system of property taxation remains relatively the same.
I'm doing my best to plan ahead for food. There is a fitness center, so the girls and I are planning on working out as soon as class is done (there is a state-sponsored review of the test materials the four days prior to the exam). We're planning on eating in our rooms for the most part, so I'm planning ww wraps and lots of salads.
Well, I need to get a grocery list together before lunch, so I'd better git!
ETA: Mythreesons: Congrats on your loss so far! 9 lbs in 3 weeks is a great accomplishment!!
