Hi everyone. I wish I had the energy for personals, but I'm afraid I just don't. I woke up with a terrible headache (I believe I'm dehydrated) and felt SO weepy. I teared up watching a Sub Zero refrigerator commercial. I don't know what that's about.

I've got Cajun Sausage and Beans in the crockpot. I always make a double batch because it reheats so well and makes lots of lunches. Brian has a patrol meeting at our house tonight so I may have 13 boys here if all show up. I promised them cookies. That will use up a mix I have when I have enough boys here that I don't have to worry about leftover cookies that I will end up eating.

I'm working from home today and hope to spend some time on the Wii Fit. I need to start getting in some regular exercise time.

No word from Robert. Oh, well, if he wants Brian to visit him he will have to let me know where he is. His sister refused to get in the middle of it so she won't say anything. I've made sure Brian knows I'm not keeping him from his Dad.

Have a happy reunion, Schmoo. Tom was in Florida for another school. He has to go back again in December, but luckily for us they scheduled the classes so he'll be home for Thanksgiving AND Christmas. So the only thing I have to deal with is him continuing to call and tell me how it's 75* and sunny. He just got on his plane twenty minutes ago. We're picking him up at one o'clock tomorrow afternoon.

Well, I mostly made it through the day. I had an extra cheese stick and a granola bar (that wasn't so good but it was better than the chocolate chips that were yelling at me to eat them). Then tonight after dinner I had a sugar free pudding with a spoonful of peanut butter and a sprinkle of chocolate powder. Not perfect, but better than it could've been.

I'm off to retire for the night. I'm pooped today.

I've been having a blast trying out the Wii Fit. I love seeing what new things get unlocked. So far I really like the Advanced Step and I think I'm going to like the boxing once I get the hang of it. I'm not terribly coordinated but with practice I can do these. I just don't do well with stuff where I have to balance on one foot. Brian does though! I got over an hour of exercise today. Maybe I can do more during the patrol meeting tonight.

We've been having heavy snow squalls all day long, with the sun coming out in between. It hasn't been sticking, but the roads were wet and I came home before it got too dark. Cindy thinks I'm nuts, but I've had enough of driving on hilly, winding roads when they're slippery.

Kim, I hope that headache went away. They're even worse when you wake up with one. Not a pleasant way to start your morning!

Barb, no sampling those cookies! Have fun with your Wii Fit, that sounds like a great way to get a workout at home.

Hi! I FINALLY MADE IT BACK TO THE Y!!!! Hot diggity daffodil! I feel soooo much better, even if I only worked out 35 minutes. Amazing how 2 weeks off makes you start completely over. That's alright though. Every little bit helps!

Also got told today that a few of the guys at my high school reunion later spoke of how "hot" I am. Um... I look like I did in high school except I have crows feet, laugh lines, and am a bit droopier. But, I'll take it! I just think they're ignorant.

Another quick day at work today. I'm never going to get caught up! At least I have the Y to blow off steam.

Hey, girls!

Back from my day with my boys. We ran into my MIL and SIL at a store - they made me feel a bit ashamed about my choice of low-key birthdays.

I had a good time, though. I got a really fantastic haircut! Afterwards I got a facial and then we went and browsed at Barnes and Noble for awhile and added a few things to our baby registry at Babies R Us. We went out for pizza afterwards.

Low key....sure....it was a great day spent with my two favorite people in the world. Even if I wasn't able to get my hair done or a facial done, it still would have been a fantastic day.

DH and I are about to put DS to bed and then snuggle with a movie. DH got me my favorite cheesecake with cherries on top. Birthday cheesecake is better than birthday cake!
