Smile Here we go again....

Hi ladies....

I have been gone for a LONG time....Anyways...I had ROCKED on SBD...lost about 40ish lbs, got married, and got a new job at an elementary school and well I have gained about 25ish back!

So today it begins....P1!!!! I figure today is the best day to start so I wont eat my way through the Halloween candy.

My plan is to find lots of support here because work will kick my butt, the food is crazy there EVERYDAY!!!

So.....wish me luck

Congratulations - it takes courage and determination to do this! I am on Day 1, Ph1 too! New to this board, although, like you, I did SBD a few years ago and lost over 20lbs. Had another baby afterwards and now that he is 10 months old, I am ready to do it again. This time I'd love to lose 40lbs or so!

We can do it!

I look forward to hanging out with you and everyone else.

Yay, movielover! I was hoping I`d find a buddy starting around the same time as me, but this is totally awesome that we`re on the exact same day.

I did so much better than I thought I would. I've had absolutely no cravings whatsoever. Made sure I drank plenty of water, did a lot of housework to keep me busy and ate well! I am a little bit hungry at the mo, but I'm going to bed soon. I wish I had the time to exercise, but for day 1 - I think I am off to a pretty good start. But enough about me - how was day 1 for you?

Welcome to 3FC. This is a great place for information, advice, encouragement, and a good kick in the rear when you need it. Be sure to get your dairy and beans in for the first two weeks. And if you have any sort of questions, feel free to ask. We've got lots of veterans who've been around for a while and really know their stuff.
Good luck on your journey!

First day CHECK!!! It was great..not too bad of cravings...I made some kick butt chili and had bacon and egg cups for breakfast..plus lots of other great stuff!

I am going to make the PB cookies in the recipe section for desert tonight! I forgot how much better you feel so fast...I swear the new little rolls are going away already!

Must drink more water...
How did you do Big Mama?

Good job, movielover!!! Great to see that you're off to a great start.
Well, Day 2 is almost over and I have done really well. I only wish I had the time or the energy to exercise. Definitely heading to the gym tomorrow. Yeah, I know what you mean - I feel lighter already, too! I'm drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day (more if I exercise), because I read somewhere that the weight loss on carb restricting diets is mostly attributed to water loss, so I'm making sure I stay well hydrated. I feel that, for me, at this point it's even more important to re-learn eating well than losing weight.

Movielover! I used to teach in an elementary school and I hear you on the food there. It's insane! However, people can certainly relate to dieting and they can be really supportive if you're firm about your commitment.

For sure...There was this yummy pumpkin chocolate chip bread this morning! GEEZ!!! So I ate some nuts! But I did get a Diet Pepsi to try to get rid of this headache!! And since I don't teach anymore I can always check out the food, not just on breaks
