mexican omelet for me

no time this morning so grabbed leftover ff refried beans with some tomatoes and cheese on it and popped in the microwave at work. it was good- but I just figured out I have eaten beans for the past like 9 meals so I am definitely cutting back a bit on them!!!

My stomach is unsettled this morning so I just had a couple of turkey/cheese/spinach rollups.

Lazy this morning, I basically just had a large snack. Grabbed some leftover red pepper strips and microwaved a small piece of ham.

This morning we had "Breakfast burgers". Turkey breakfast sausage patties, an egg, spinach, tomato and a small sprinkle of shredded cheddar on ww toast. mmmmm....I'm definitely adding these to my breakfast recipe list. It would be totally sbd compliant as an open faced sammich.

I forgot I started this thread! I just came back and what a nice surprise!! So many great ideas. I wrote down a whole page. Hoping to really start ph1 next Mon. or Tues. (going away this weekend).

this morning was left over crock pot mix (chicken breast, limas, bell peppers and onions) over medium egg coffee and glass of milk - this is a phase 1 breakfast

We're having pumpkin bread that I baked yesterday and scrambled eggs.

Hmmm, so far just a piece of deli ham when I was making the school lunches and some coffee. Need to do better than that, but I am not really feeling it. The beans sound okay, think I'll go grab some pintos and salsa.

Breakfast for me was soooo tasty this morning - if a bit later than it should be. Eating breakfast is one of the hardest parts of this diet for me!!
I'm on P2 so I toasted a bagel, spead some roasted garlic hummus on both sides and sandwiched two pieces of Canadian bacon in the middle. Made a KILLER breakfast sandwich! I admit, my Fiber One multigrain bagels might not be the most on-plan in the world, but so far they don't seem to do much damage if they are the only carb and I have them with protein. I'll look for a better choice next time... I'm new to P2 so I thought high fiber was all I needed to worry about. Time to re-read the book! :) |

I normally am not a big fan of oatmeal, but I made what a lot of you have had... oatmeal with apples (I had leftover "baked" apples), with a bit of pecans, cinnamon, and a touch of syrup. YUM! Thanks!! (and I finally bought some steel cut oats...so I'll have to try that! |
Betsi, I too am a fan of the breakfast sandwich. If you want alternatives to your bagel, I have had good luck finding whole wheat english muffins. Thomas's has a 100% whole wheat and ezekiel has good ones, too. If you have Kroger stores, they have a ww store brand as well.

Since i finally got to eat brunch at 11am I had chicken salad (made with sugarfree pickles, celery, eggs and mayo) and a small salad with grape tomatoes, cucumbers, 1tbsp cheese, and 4 olives.

DP got the big breakfast so by the time I got to mine it was leftover dumpling squash and a chunk of seitan. It was good and filling so who am I to complain?!

this morning I had a fewchunks of roasted sweet potatoes, turkey patty and 1 egg of course i had coffee
