EofAZ- that is a great idea! I called the local kinkos and the kid that answered didn't know if they could give them away, but will have the manager call me. Those would be perfect because of the lids. Rather like Banker's boxes, but free!

Can someone make the Oct workout thread a sticky? I didn't know if anyone could... and if anyone can, I have no idea how!
Beats looking around for it all the time!
Thanks,
Jenny

Oh yeah... I wanted to make the Nessa Bars. I have the recipe, I have everything but the dry milk... that is a must, isn't? Anything I can sub for it?

Gotcha, Jenksi. It needs to be done by a MOD and I've been away today. Thanks.

sooo....We're about to go out for DH's birthday....I bought a little black sheath sleeveless sheath dress....only thing? It's not so little. I feel like a frickin' whale.
My sciatica is not going to like me for wearing heels...but DH said absolutely no to wearing tennis shoes ;)

Jenny - no idea on what you could substitute for the milk powder as there really isn't any liquid in the recipe....you could try various different ways and see if they work out? Maybe some ground up oatmeal or other grain?

Jessie, that dog skin stuff is called nu-stock. They have a website if you can't find it locally at a feed store. I swear by the stuff...it does smell horrid, but I don't care because it works so well.

Just went and joined that gym I had been wanting to join since last month. Since I'm off tomorrow, will start then. It is such a cool place...like a country club. Can't wait to start. My husband decided to join too since it was just 20 more a month for couples. Should be fun!!

I went shopping today, picked up those green bags you all were raving about. We'll see if they work!

They have awesome stuff...it's best to check there once a week or so as their deals change all the time.

One load a week! Lucky. I'm up to one load a day and one load of towels a week....and that is if I'm lucky. I also do a load of sheets on Mondays.

Zeff, trust me, when son was home, it was more like four loads a week. That boy refuses to wear the same pair of jeans twice without being washed! I wonder if he's changed his tune now that he's on his own and has to wash his own clothes! ;) Of course, he washed his own when he was living here, but it was at my expense.

Speaking of my son, he got a job! Working in a local factory for min. wage. But he's excited, and I'm excited for him! :)

Hey Zeff-

You should check craigslist.com in your area, look under the free items. In my area I have seen people giving away moving boxes to get rid of them after there done. You never know... (oh, get the general area too... :D)

Good luck with the move! I hate moving!

Thanks, Tracy. I've been keeping my eye on craigslist for the past few days.

I applied to be re-admitted to my local freecycle...I have no idea what the deal is with the moderators.

Lori - Congrats to your son!
