What does DH, DS and DP mean?

Fat Melanie 10-02-2008 12:43 PM

DH = dear husband, DS = dear son, DP = dear partner. :)

JellyBean32882 10-02-2008 01:03 PM

Today is gonna be a lagging day for me, didn't sleep well last night due to heartburn (guess i gotta stop drinking the light and healthy O.J.). I usually take Prilosec for heartburn but ran out.

Mel, damn, I so wish I was down to 187lbs, I was when I dated last but since then it's been hard to get back down to that. How's the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred goin for ya so far?

Lori looking at your kittys pic she looks just like my new little guy

Loriann7 10-02-2008 02:00 PM

KO... I'm devastated, not sure if I should keep her because i'm having a hard time breathing due to allergies :(.

KO 10-02-2008 02:04 PM

I have allergies too more dust and other stuff, but a kitty person reccomended wiping them down with baby wipes

zeffryn 10-02-2008 02:06 PM

Lori - have you tried taking any allergy meds? DH is allergic to our kitty and when he has attacks, Alavert helps him immensely.

Went to Big Lots when I was out running errands and wanted to let everyone know that they are having a 70% off closeout of a drug store buyout. I picked up a 3 pack of brita pitcher filters for $4 and some Dove shampoo and conditioner for $1 each. I also saw that they had big cans of similac (not opened or expired) for around $8 a can - that is a REALLY good deal. They also had tons of OTC meds and vitamins, feminine hygiene, preg tests, etc.

Check it out!

Now to wrap DH's birthday gifts before he gets home. The University didn't have classes today, so he's playing golf. He said he felt guilty because we had so much packing to do...I told him it was his birthday and I would just put him to work more on Saturday ;)

Just cleaning out underneath sinks today. It is amazing how much crap I've acquired!

Zeff I love Biglots!

Loriann7 10-02-2008 02:16 PM

I suppose letting her sleep in my room should be stopped!

Zeff,I'm glad I haven't left yet to read your post, I normally don't stop in big lots! But I WILL today! thanks!

Fat Melanie 10-02-2008 02:19 PM

I love Biglots too. I can find The Healing Gardnen products way cheaper than Walmart. Wish I had known about the Dove last week, I just bought two Dove shampoos for 2.50 (it was a buy one get one deal at Dollar General.) I'll tell my mom about the $1 sale, she loves Big Lots too.

Jelly, you'll get to 187, you're not far away at all. I haven't got the Jillian Michaels Shred DVD yet but probably will in the next couple of weeks. I can't wait to try it. For now I'm going do some exercise bike and try to walk in place during DOOL as CyndiM suggested. Hahha, EJ's gonna have to choose between Sami and Nicole now.. uh ohhh!

And I stand corrected. :p DP does stand for dear partner for some, and dear pet for others. My bad. :D

Good Afternoon Everyone
Maybe someday I will get the knack of answering everyone individually.

Cat - What is your sign off, is it French. We are totally bilingual in this house (English/French) and a few other languages. I even called my DH over to see if he can figure it out, he lived in France till the age of 10 and completed his education till high school in French in Quebec. We both grew up in Quebec.

Me - started as a nice day today but is raining right now. After I get off the internet I am going back to knitting, am working on some some mitts to donate to a women's shelter for Christmas. Staying on plan and hoping that it will last during the weekend.

Mel - what about getting a jump rope? They are really inexpensive and provide really great cardio.

I did the exact same thing and had the exact same response. Today was the first day I ventured out since summer, the temp was down to 87* and I thought it might not be to hot to walk around the block at work. I was sure glad I didn't decide to just hike up to the airport and back.

Zeff, you might consider checking with Kinkos or AlphaGraphics to see if they have paper boxes? It would make sense that they go through a bunch each day.

JellyBean32882 10-02-2008 04:05 PM

Damn, wish there was a big lots near me, I could have gotten my prilosec and any other OTC crap I need..
