Cottage, I'm packing a lot of black clothes.

Let's just stand next to the bear--he'll make us look think and nearly hairless.

Can't wait to see you and give you a

in person!
Ruthie, I spent half the night packing...but I forgot to turn the dryer on this morning! I'll have to do that during my quick run home between the gym and Theology on Tap tonight. It has one more piece of black clothing!

Hope Disney loves the farm, too...bet she'll have a blast! I'm bringing my laptop so we can keep tabs on the Beachies (not that they'll need it...

) and I'm sure the other mods will be poking their heads in.
Loriann, have you tried putting your food into fitday? Are you exercising? We can only restrict what we eat so much--but exercise helps immensely! Hope you can break the 180 barrier soon!

Have you thought about checking out the
Habitat for Humanity ReStore for your toilet? They stock used or surplus construction materials and though I'm sure you don't want a used toilet, they might have one that someone bought but didn't use and donated. Their stuff is very inexpensive and the money goes to a good cause.

It's like Salvo, but for DIY projects! They have one on the 414 between Corning and Watkins Glen, but maybe there's one closer to you?
Here's a list of the ones in NY.
Cat and
Christie!
Can't wait to see the dress,
Twynn! I find that Dockers Metro pants fit really well (and I have tons o' curves...I could put a baby on each hip and have room for more!

) and Lee has some great pants, too. But I feel your pain. My problem is that most pants these days are low rise or "just below waist" which makes the "waist" right around the fattest part of my middle. If I buy pants that fit there, they are HUGE everywhere else.
Wish you could be there, too,
Schmoo!

Hope the hamser is okay--they're so little that it's so scary when they're sick! Give it a gentle pat from me. Congrats on the scale!
Oh,
Lisa, don't feel bad about the rent. Obviously the office wasn't upset about it or they'd have contacted you by now.

I know I'd be upset too, but it's not worth beating yourself up about it. Have you talked with the doc about your bp meds? Hope you get it worked out.
Thanks for the good wishes,
Gonna!

I'm so sorry you aren't feeling well...what an awful way to catch a bug!

Hope you rest and take it easy.
Nessa, I'm so sorry things aren't going as well with Bagel.

Times like this are so very hard, but know that you're in my prayers and that we're all here for you, okay?

Ruth, Cottage, & Laurie I expect you to be on your absolute worst behavior! Have fun!!

We promise,
KO...don't want to let you down, you know.
Jessie, don't stress, okay? I hear breastfeeding is the BEST diet ever!

Just eat healthy and know that it'll all work out. My super skinny-minny SIL lost all her weight after the baby, but she said that her hips might not have moved back into place as she still couldn't fit into her pants. So if you have trouble later, you can always say it's the same thing, right?

I'm SO glad your little girl is healthy and doing well. Hope she keeps "cooking" until she's ready. Can't wait to see her, though! Know she'll be gorgeous like her mom.
Me: I'm all excited about our trip, but am also worried about last minute niggles (as Ruth would call them). Lots to do and pack. It seems the more time goes on the more chargers and cords I have to pack. This time I'm bringing our new laptop, so I'm going to have a ton of electronics on me! Think I'll leave the iPod at home...
Gym after work today and then a quick evening of taking care of the dog, shower, make/eat dinner, finish packing, and throw it all in the car before speeding to Theology on Tap where a dear friend is speaking about dating/marriage and spirituality. As soon as it's over we're on our way to the town where I'm flying out EARLY tomorrow morning.

DH and the pup are staying over with me, which is a treat. Hope everyone has a good weekend. Play nice in here, okay?
