You've probably gained muscle, which is a good thing. Hence why you've seen some inches lost but not lbs on the scale. Don't worry, soon enough you will.
Sounds like your body is shifting in the right direction, and you're toning. Give it a little more time and you'll start to see the scale nudge down too.
I tend to lose inches faster than weight as well. The good thing is that I'm able to wear clothes I haven't been able to fit in a long time. I've also learned that the scale is nothing but another tool for me.
Jane - I'm in the same position, so I know how frustrating it can be! According to the scale, I didn't lose any pounds in August. Didn't gain, but basically stayed the same. However, I'm doing bootcamp 3/week, and lifting weights for my arms on a 4th day. I have dropped a pant size, and 1.5 inches in my waist this month, so it IS working.....it's just slow to show up on the scale.
I so know how you feel I have only lost 15lbs but I have lost all over 21 inches. I started out wearing a size 18 and i now wear a 14. I figure it will all catch up in the long run
Fo 6 weeks I had only lost 2 and a half pounds ,but lots of inches. Finally, this past week ,I lost 2 and a half more pounds, so obviously, I lose weight sparadically. I am the lowest I have been in a year and a half and now fit into my size 14 pants. That is good for me.So, I would like to loose about 15 to 20 more pounds ,so I will keep turtling along.I hope to loose at least a pound a week and reach my goal by New Year's Eve.+
