Hi everyone! Thursday is awesome!
All the snow has melted here. It was so beautiful, but I am glad to see it go. I have slipped so many times on campus I was starting to fear for my life.
Kim: have a great "honeymoon"! Can't wait to hear how everything went when you return.
Spirit: paperwork is not fun! Maybe it is over now. Good luck.
femmecreole: Is N.O. New Orleans? That sounds very exciting.

I have a friend at school that told me today he is going to New Orleans for Spring Break to an Italian parade. I had never even heard of it before!
cottage: I hope it warmed up a little for you!
loriann: I will keep you in my thoughts. I know you feel like this trouble with you Ex will never end. Hang in there.
gonna: Feel better soon!
So here it is...I got my exam grade today...I got an A! I actually danced around a little bit when I found out! Just a little though. I cannot believe it, I am convinced that the professor must have transposed the numbers in the grade.

I went and got my hair trimmed. The funny thing is, I had told myself that I would go to a nice salon and get a shampoo and trim as a "reward" when I had lot a total of ten pounds. Honestly, I don't weigh myself often. And last week I still hadn't lost any additional weight since starting the diet, so I have been putting off the "reward". I decided yesterday that I needed my hair trimmed, and that I deserved it even if the stupid scale hadn't moved. This morning I stepped on the scales, just to see because I felt guilty for getting my "reward" early. I have now officially lost a total of ten pounds! What?! Another little dance.

These two things offset the fact that today could have been a bad day for me. First, the pain medicine they gave me for my toes is strong. I actually slept through my alarm clock and missed my 8 o'clock class this morning. I hate missing class and I always feel so guilty. So not the best start of the day. But then I got my exam grade and I was walking on clouds! Then I went to the rest of my classes and came home for lunch. That is when I weighed myself. So I was even more excited. I was fixing my lunch, and what do I do? Well, I accidentally drop my cell phone into my glass of milk. Yup my milk. We don't have a land line, and now my cell phone is a goner. But I have remained happy. I have a huge smile on my face. Thank all you for your words of encouragement. It is wonderful to read everyone's successes and daily trials and tribulations.
Have a great evening!
