Default I love this book!

I just bought The South Beach Diet Good Fats/Good Carbs Guide (Revised): The Complete and Easy Reference for All Your Favorite Foods

and I love it! It is so easy to read and is only $6. It has all types of food listed with three columns Phase I,II & III. It lets you know if it is allowed, limited or to be avoided. It is such a good reference when you are in a hurry. I also learned that tomatoes and carrots are now allowed in Phase I because they revised the plan. I didn't know this.

I didn't know about the carrots either! I did notice that they don't trigger cravings, maybe that's why they're ok?

Carrots really? Wow that's great news. I hated having to eliminate them from stocks and soups. They also make great snacks. Even after ph1 I avoided them.

Yeah!!!! I can have more than just celery for lunch with my hummus now! I can eat carrots too!!!

You have NO idea how happy that makes me!

I know I can have other veggies, but the precut celery is just the easiest thing in the world to pick up every morning on the way into work. Now I can get a bag of baby carrots as well!

Mare, my kids LOVE baby carrots and hummus! I have to admit that it's one of my favorites, too!
