Default What are your favorite SBD Products?

This past Sunday's coupon section had some great SB Coupons in it so it inspired me to stock up on a few. Now my freezer and pantry are full (Thanks to everyone giving me their coupons as well). Anyway, I love the PB Cookies and the one pack is satisfying and I don't feel the need to overinduldge. Anyway, I wanted to get an idea of what everyone's favorite products were.

I can tell you i'm not crazy about the sirloin tips with the broccoli cheese side but I do like the Kung Pao Chicken.

Cann,
I haven't tried any of those products, but I'll be interested to hear what everyone says. DH will probably be away all fall, and I don't feel like cooking as much when he's not around. I might get some of those meals to have on hand.

The convenience *is* nice, but I prefer making things from scratch. Plus, I've noticed that on some of the South Beach products (I think it was the snack bars) there are sketchy ingredients, like high fructose corn syrup. What's the deal with that? I kind of don't trust them after I saw the ingredient list.

I know they are convenient but the initial principle behind this plan was to reduce or eliminate processed foods. IMHO, Dr. A sold out to Kraft!

Sometimes my schedule doesn't allow me the flexibility to make dinner and my husband and I cross paths during the day so we don't get to enjoy dinner together. I really bought them for the convenience because I sometimes need something on the go and felt these were a great option. I too go for regular choices first but grab these if I need to.

What other products do you buy/favor that are a must on your SBD? I'd love some insight. Snap Peas are a favorite of mine.

My favorite fast lunch is a cup of cottage cheese with a red bell pepper cut into strips.

My favorite fast breakfast is one of Nessa's oatmeal bars with a hard boiled egg and cup of tomato juice.

My favorite fast dinner is black beans warmed with a bit of garlic and red peppper flakes thrown in, topped with warmed canned diced tomatoes with some oregano with cilantro on top. I serve it with a side salad.

I eat a frozen SBD dinner most days of the week. Kung Pao Chicken rocks. Caprese chicken with broccoli and savory pork with pecans and green beans are my other two favorites. There's a Szechuan chicken with WW pasta that's pretty good too, and a new alfredo pasta with chicken that I haven't tried yet.

I'm still doing one carb a day (except for today when I hit the ground hard with some ice cream) and I just dont' have enough time to cook 3 meals, commute 3 hours to work and then work up to 10 hours a day PLUS exercise. Something had to go. Cooking was it.

I use the SB frozen foods on the weekend when I am pulling 12 hour shifts. I am just too tired to think about making something. The rest of the week I make everything at home pretty much. I like the dinner wraps as well, everything I have tried for the dinners I like. I know I should plan ahead and make frozen dinners to take to work but I have learned to cook for my family so there are no leftovers as none of them will eat.
