Cottage, I count it as a snack--it's about the same amount of fruit and yogurt I use for a snack, so I figure it's the same, just blended with ice and more protein!

I do have it for breakfast sometimes, though--it's really transportable.

One tip I got from a deck of smoothie recipe cards I got from my SIL is to freeze fruit and use that in place of ice cubes...they don't turn into water when they melt.
