Whooeey! I am so addicted to the SF Fudgesicles from Blue Bunny. I'm only allowed two a day and ALWAYS go over! Ah well -- at least I didn't scarf down a bunch of bread or pasta or something!

fitnessgurl 04-02-2007 08:23 PM

Oh Kim those sound good...:hungry: Where do find them? I tried SF fudgesicles (another brand) and it was like licking water..Gross:p

I'm gonna check out that list. I thought we couldn't have peas.

Kim_Star060404 04-02-2007 09:25 PM

I get them at my local grocery store. They're so yummy! They're blue bunny brand and are delish!

ciarasmommy, on Phase 1 we can have split peas and pigeon peas (whatever they are?), but no green peas until Phase 2.

1st Day 2nd time around

Hello all, found this site today, and decided to join you, I started SBD today, this is my 2nd time, so I know it works, Going to be hard for me cause I drive an 18 wheeler with my hubby, we team drive all over the country. I have started having some health issues and weight being one of them, so time to do something about it. :carrot:

Kim_Star060404 04-03-2007 08:22 AM

Okeedokee! Day 2 of Phase 1, here I am. Here's today's meals:

B: 2 eggs scrambled w/green bell peppers, 8 oz. ff milk, 8 oz. V8, One-A-Day multivitamin
S:
L: 1 c. leftover taco bake, 8 oz. V8, SF Fudgesicle
S: 1/4 c. SF jello, 12 oz diet coke
D: 2 c. salad greens, 1 ps mozzarella string cheese, 2 slices LF deli turkey
D: 1 SF fudgesicle
H2O: 60 oz
Workout: Still taking it easy on P1

A bit of a challenge will be that I'm going to the movies tonight. So hard to stay on track with all the soda and snacks being pushed my way. I think I'll just get a small diet coke and chew on some SF gum. I hope that will tide me over.

Also, I need to apologize for not welcoming chickies and chatting it up in here. It seems like all I have time for is to post in the morning and check in from time to time to journal my menu. Hopefully, I can be more encouraging to everyone in here soon! Have a great day! Enjoy the beach!!!

Today is day 1. So far, so good. Breakfast was ff plain yougurt with Davinici's Syrup in it and some ff milk. I know I should have added some protein or veggies, but I just wasn't really in the mood to eat this morning.

Day 8 for me....Wow, I cant believe I am on day 8!! Honestly I am shocked that I am still here!! I usually cave into dinners out with friends, happy hours, my boyfriend's homemade pasta, pretty much anything!! But I am doing good, and I like the challange I am giving myself this time around :)

Things are going good so far, I have run into a few tough times...like going to the movies and my boyfriend orders the extra large refillable popcorn tub, and asks me if I can have this on my "beach thing" (as he calls it). Haha!! I just stuck to my SF gum the whole time, but that was soooo hard! He's been very encouraging, but I just dont think he understands what a carbohydrate is. LOL!

I have noticed though that I am more tired than usual. Anyone else finding this?? Also, I am coming up to 'that time of the month', and this is when I normally am more hungry than the rest of the month, and crave chocolate insanely. I usually give in, becuase it makes me feel better, but I am not going to give up this thing! How has anyone delt with this problem?? I am sticking to the ricotta creme's and SF jello at night when I want something sweet, hopefully that helps!

Thanks for the Welcome...Day 2 and doing great....

amberj002 04-03-2007 11:52 AM

Hi! I am on day two and so far so good! I can't believe that I don't feel hungry, that is the best part. My husband is starting today (he went to opening day baseball yesterday....so he decided he better not start then!). I am sure I will have lots of questions!!

AbbyLu202 04-03-2007 01:01 PM

Amber, did he go to the Brewer's opening game? I notice you're from WI, so I figured that's where he headed!! Tailgating and Brewers games are some of my favorite summer memories....hopefully this summer I can keep the comsumption under wraps at those events. It's always a lot of mixers and junk food. Ohhh....darnit!!

Day 2..good job, it gets easier too!

kmbrly 04-03-2007 10:24 PM

I should have just stuck with what I was comfortable with!!

Hi all. I'm Kim.

I just finished day 2 of Nutrisystem, and all I can say is BLECH!!!! I can't stomach the food.

I'm going back to Phase 1 of SBD starting tomorrow. I found this site actually by accident, but have found myself coming here multiple times throughout the day. Everyone seems so supportive and knowledgable of the different plans.

I'm looking forward to learning much from all of you.

Kim

ciarasmommy2005 04-03-2007 10:50 PM

Good luck Kim. I have never tried Nurtasystem. Glad I didn't now.

Day one is over and although I have a terrible headache I have done pretty good today. I think I am going thru sugar and caffeine withdraw. I have decided I better get off of caffeine again, because the diet sodas are giving me headaches all of a sudden. I did have field peas for dinner and I'm not sure if they are a phase 1 food. I will have to go check the list. I thought I saw them on there and decided to try them. They were pretty good. I am feeling confindent in doing this, this time around. Need lots of support and will power dust, which I know I can get both here.
