I am just starting today. I love veggies, and have ate alot of whole grain products for years. My big problem is I love sweets. I used to never eat sweets, but when I became pregnant with my first child I craved them, and now I am addicted. I hope I can tame the cravings.
sounds like this is a great plan for you and it will def kick that sweet habit. Not to say you'll never want another cookie but after wave 1, it'll be much easier and boy will you welcome that fruit!
Today was day 1 and I had eggs and toast..... followed by a green salad and some soy strips. dinner will be some tenderloin, asparagus and brown rice.
I asked a question on another thread but....I noticed in nmy soy "meat substitutes there is an ingredient called EVAPORATED CANE JUICE. It's also in the Kashi cereals and other "healthy" food products. I am hoping this is allowed because I have a LOT!!!!
Welcome Mel & treble, you'll like this way of eating and you will be successful
Here is my menu for today:
B.........Wg bread, PB,Milk,coffee
S..........veggies with LF spread
L...........falfafel,dried tomatoes,cucumbers,swiss chard(this is the first time I have tried falfafel,not bad,had 1 lg.pattie,the tomatoes are something I made my self)

Melody - since it seems you still havn't receieved an answer to your Evaporated Cane Juice question I thought I'd take a stab...
Well, as you may have already ascertained, Cane is short for Sugar Cane - so this is a product made from sugar. The good news is its "unrefined" sugar, so it is more wholesome and much less processed than regular sugar. The bad news is, it's still sugar, even if it is in a more wholesome form. For Sonoma purposes I would say treat Cane Juice as you would honey - hence it can be part of your diet, but should be used sparingly. Hope that helps!
Glad to see that everyone is still here and doing well with menus ~looking good!!
My menu:
veg saus and toast w/ PB
veg soup with WG bread
