Hi Ladies,
I was really ready to join you, but neither of the book stores here are carrying the book and it is going to take over a month for the one from Amazon to get here. What would you say are the most important points in wave one? What can I start doing without reading the book first? I started no sugar yesterday, and I already drink tonnes of water. No diet pop, right? The posted recipies are going to be a great help. Thank you so much. |
Hi, there. Just like you, I tried to start Sonoma before I got my book, that's how I found this site.
I would say the most important point in wave 1 is to avoid all refined carbs (white bread, rice, etc.) Just eat whole grains, lean protein and vegetables. You can also have some fat (1 tbsp per day) and a few nuts. The book explains all this in more detail, but it's kind of lengthy. You can write me if you want more details. |
Best adivce is to read the stickies at the top of the forum that will give you and idea about the plan and check out the recipes so you can get some idea of the foods on the plan.

I found my book at my local grocery store, Kroger. It was 17 or 18 $. Good luck.
