6.5 miles yesterday and 3 games of bowling (aching shoulder and hip and still lost dreadfully- was shamed by the small children in the next aisle)

Not feelign so great today so have skipped yoga to catch up on sleep. Back at the gymn tomorrow night though, with spinning Weds, walking Thurs, gymn Fri, rest Sat and a looong walk Sunday.

Exercise will make and keep me positive....

Well I lied yesterday I didnt get in that 3 mile run, holy cow the wind picked up out of the North and it was miserable cold!! But I still did my yoga yesterday morning, and I got up and did it again this morning, and keeping fingers crossed for it to warm up for a tolerable run tonight!! Have a great day ladies!!! :-)

Hope your rest helped yesterday Clareh.

Glad to see all of you posting and getting in exercise.. BUT we are missing some people! Don't make me come find you! I will !!

This morning was 46 minutes of step aerobics and 20 minutes of upper body weights. I am getting closer and closer to the presidential challenge Bronze award..YAY. Stay on course and I should hit Gold by September!

Clareh 02-07-2006 01:16 PM

Back on track and feeling a lot more positive after yesterday's BIG SLEEP (from 5:30 til 9, then 11 til 6:30)

Cross trainer for at least 50 mins tonight.

Only ONE post between mine yesterday and today? Ok, what's the problem ladies? I know the newness of New Year's is wearing off but your health stll is important. Even if you aren't overweight, you must exercise regularly for good health. If you are overweight, diet alone will not make you healthy... just skinny.

If your health isn't enough of a motivator, just think that shorts, tank tops and bathing suits will be starting to be worn in the next 6 -8 weeks! :o

I got an excellent night's sleep last night.. 8. 5 hours! I still hated getting up at 4:30 but I did and got in my 40 minutes of aerobics and 20 minutes of lower body weights.

Clareh 02-08-2006 02:26 PM

Back properly in 'the spin' of things- 45 minutes advanced spinning class (and it wasn;t even the hunky instructor with the nice legs, which makes it all go quicker!)

Back walking tomorrow- 13 weeks til the dreaded Moonwalk. I'm going to have to use some serious fake tan and fringing to be walking in my bra!

happytx 02-08-2006 08:07 PM

I got in my power yoga again today! :)

I am finally feeling better today (have had a terrible cold and cough for the past week). Still feel weak and unbalanced but want to move, so the plan is to do my 20-minute "stress relief yoga" DVD today. Depending on how I feel after that, I may do some abs and possibly walk the dog around the neighborhood.

Did 20 minutes of yoga yesterday and that was it. But feeling even better and plan to do my 45-minute "Yoga Conditioning for Weight Loss" DVD today. If my feeling-better trend continues, hubby and I will ride bikes this weekend. Probably a shorter ride than normal, but at least it's something!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!
