I usually weigh myself twice a week since I'm too anxious to wait until Tuesdays (my "official" weigh in day, for me anyhow). And I've been on wave 2 for about a week and I've lost about the same amount as wave 1, about 2 1/2 pounds. I've really uped my exercise from being a total couch potato to 30 min 5x a week w/ weights and so I may have gained a lot of muscle, accounting for my "low" weight loss. Really good for midprogram, but for the start you usually loose a little more. I'm not concerned really.
The program doesn't concern itself too much with calories, but I do know the first day I was on it I logged my food and it said I consumed around 1200 calories, but I was totally on program and satisfied for the day. I wouldn't worry too much about the calories though, they try to make it pretty easy for us
