Thursday's eats...
Hey chicks!!!
Ok here is the menu for Thursday.... B: cereal/ soy milk L: lentil soup S: almonds fruit D: Chicken ceasar salad (I went to the store....Yea!!!) |
Breakfast today was a spinach and feta omelet made with one eggbeater portion and one whole egg, one slice whole grain toast, and grapefruit juice. Snack was a Live Active 2% cheese stick, and my lunch is tuna salad with one slice whole grain bread and some carrots. I am going to a yoga class after work, and so will have some whole grain cereal with soy milk around 4 p.m. and will have to come up with something healthful to eat when I get home after yoga, at which time I will most likely be famished.

Today we had our monthly administrative meeting at work and they serve lunch at that. I did skip dessert but I had some of what was served. Fortunately it wasn't awful but not perfect either.
B: Kashi oatmeal, sugar free latte with sugar free whipped cream, 1/2 pink grapefruit L: 1 large porkchop (braised I think), 1/2 cup mashed potatoes, 1 cup green beans. D: 1.5 cups spicy black bean chili, 1/4 cup reduced fat sour cream, green onions, 1 glass sangria. may have some grapes or a snack later. For next week, since there aren't that many of us posting yet (I'm optimistic), do you think we can use one thread for the whole week? |
Here is my Thursday menu.... Its still not perfect (due to the full fall cheese I put on my sandwiches and the chocolate I had as one of my snacks), but its MUCH healthier than im used to eating.
Breakfast: A glass of wheatgrass juice and 2 eggs with a slice of whole wheat toast Lunch: A whole wheat veggie sandwich with lettuce, spinach, onions, olives, green peppers, tomatoes, and cheese. Dinner: Same as lunch Snacks throughout the day: A bunch of cherry tomatoes, 7 almonds, half of a lindor chocolate heart. I didnt do any exercise today as Im feeling really tired for some reason.... I hope to get some in tomorrow!! Lets keep this chat going girls!!! :) |
Since I don't see a Friday thread I will post my menu here.
B: mushroom and cheese omelet, 1 slice whole wheat bread with 1 tsp butter, 1/2 pink grapefruit, and sugar free latte with sugar free whipped cream. L: 1 cup black bean chili, 1/4 cup reduced fat sour cream and green onions, 1 apple. D: wrap made with chicken, spinach, cucumber slices, roasted red peppers, and goat cheese in a whole wheat low carb tortilla and a glass of white wine. YUM! |
