I am up for a challenge! Sounds like fun!

I will look for the book cheaper, I will try amazon or half.com. The power is still on here (yea!) Although it's suppose to snow here this weekend. urg! I am thinking that I may not make it though wave one during the holidays. I will do my best, I have too many big eating holidays in December. My hubby's b-day, christmas, baking, etc. I really am beginning to believe it is an excuse just like Gina said. I mean my hubby don't care if he has a b-day cake. I want him to have one. If it does not matter to him, why do I care??

The portion thing will be a tough one. I think once you knock out the high starch carbs you don't get the drop in blood sugar that gives you and energy slump.

Anywho, I am up for a challenge. If I don't check back with everyone its because the power or internet went back out..take care everyone!

Yea! I still have power! I can start today!! I will be in wave 2 until I get to the grocery store. I figure my usual pile of cookies will all just have to be given away this year, or, I will only save back a couple of each and instead of the square of chocolate, have one of those. (Hey, it is the holidays). Of course I am typing this and I made sugared coffee this morning. URG....darn habits.... next cup is tea only!

Well my first day of challenge didn't go so well. I did walk my dog for 15 minutes but that is probably about the only thing on the list I made. I would like to walk the dog for 30 minutes a day so I didn't even meet my own personal goal there. Everything else went out the window. I let my job completely stress me out today for some reason. I need to get a handle on that. Eating won't solve that problem. I'm on call starting today for the next week and tomorrow is my birthday.

Hey Ya'll,
I am so glad I found this site. I have been trying to start this lifestyle change but keep having christmas parties to go to where I have no self control. I love this plan. This is the way people ate before all the processing we now do to foods. I can't wait to go on this weigth loss journey with you.
