Hi. I have been doing atkins but find it very hard. My doctor wanted me to stay on it but it is just hard to be on. After eating so much protein , I am still hungry for something. I really want to find something that will work, I seem to be bouncing around lately.
Is this diet hard to you?
Atkins really is hard. The whole idea of it is to cause a chemically induced toxic state in your body. It works really well but no one really knows what the long term effects are. Also if you do the smallest thing to set the toxic state off then you can watch the weight come back. Sonoma isn't that sensitive. I have been on it since January 16 and have done fairly well. I spent this weekend off it cause it is my birthday and everyone wants to celebrate with me. Also I am having a procedure that involves two days of fasting and doctor enduced uh lets say colon cleansing. So I wanted to enjoy my birthday since the rest of this week is going to stink. The first few days are rough on the Sonoma diet. After that it gets better. If you are an emotional over eater it might get tougher at times of immense stress because most of your old stand by comfort foods are off limits. But really it works well it is healthy and small very occasional cheats only set you back that cheat not weeks of hard dieting. I say go for it. It is really good. I enjoy the foods and the results as well.
