Default Problem with COD

I went in for wi today at the COD and they told me that at the rate I am going, I'm not going to meet my goal weight. After looking through my folder, she realized that I'm taking FB500 only, not with Trimax and said that I should have been taking them together all along. No one told me this. So I bought the FB500/Trimax package because supplements are 50% off today, which was a really good deal. Hopefully this will work, but I'm really upset that someone didn't catch this earlier. I've been doing everything I was told to do, but haven't seen much success. My folder has also been lost the past 2 times I've went for wi. I feel like if I'm paying these people MY money and doing what they've told me to do, then they should keep up their end of the deal as well. I've been thinking about calling the customer service line. Just needed to get this out!

Well, unfortunately, it sounds like you got a bit of the sales pitch to buy the supplements. The program guarantees you will lose 2 lbs a week if you follow the program - supplements are NOT required; LA lites are required for the guarantee.

I don't take any of the supplements; don't believe in them. I take a good multi-vitamin and some extra vitamin C. Next time you go in I would ask for a very detailed explanation and evidence that shows why these two supplements work and have to be taken together; challenge your COD.

Of course, if your weight starts flying off, I also want to know about that too, cause maybe I'll change my mind about the supplements.

There are a number of us who are not averaging the 2 lbs per week. You've only been on the program since Nov '06 and you've lost 9 lbs - I think you are doing great!

As far as disappearing folders, I think that is a standard LAWL COD problem. Mine is always MIA too. Perhaps you should call ahead of time to tell them you are on your way and you want them to start looking for your folder so that it is there when you get there. If they can't find it, tell them you want them to add a week to your program everytime they misplace your file since how can they properly council you without that information in front of them...just a thought.

They always try to sell me stuff too because I am not losing at 2lb/week. I always tell them that I am happy with the rate that I am losing and that I am still better off than I was before. It frustrates the **** out of them, but they are getting used to me.

My file is constantly missing too. I always start with "I am a middle tab" because they have left, middle and right tabbed folders. I figure that that makes them 33% more likely to find my folder that way!

Kim - I'll have to check my folder and see what I am. I even thought about bringing in one in a bright neon color.....but I haven't done that yet.

There is no scientific evidence to prove that these vitamines work. It's just some more stuff that they are trying to sell. You've lost quite a bit of weight. Vitamines or no vitamines.

I fully agree with everybody else. Their supplements are not some magic pill that will make the fat melt. I haven't taken any supplements from them and I think I have done pretty good. Some people just lose slower than others. You only have 30 lbs to lose, so you won't see the same losses of someone who has much more to lose. 9 lbs. is a wonderful success and don't you let anybody tell you otherwise. Are you doing the lites? If so, as long as you are following the program and doing like they say, they are committed to sticking with you until you reach your goal - at their expense.

My COD has 3 filing cabinets, one is for people on hold and they rotate the files between the other 2. Don't understand that system, but I know that if I skip a week, they have a heck of a time finding my file.

Keep your chin up and don't let them get under your skin.

Deb, I can't do lites because I had a kidney stone in august. I've heard that also makes it hard to lose. I guess I just got a little frustrated today and was grabbing at straws and anything they told me. Thanks for being a sound voice of reason for me, everyone!
