Default Greens recipe?

I keep trying to introduce new veggies and I bought some turnip greens. Anyone have a healthy way to prepare them?

I've never had turnip greens before so maybe they're more bitter or something but I'd make them just like I do fresh spinach. Put the greens in a bowl and then cover with boiling water for a few minutes until wilted. Strain off the water. It might not be the most creative way to have them but I love them like that. I eat spinach like this at least twice a week. Of course, I do have to have a bit of salt on it.

I have a couple ways that I cook greens:

Sautee them with a little olive oil, lemon juice and water.
Steam them (my favorite)
Boil them until wilty (least favorite)

I'd say experiment. The sauteeing works pretty well but I think steaming them is easiest.

As far as turnip greens go, I have to have them boiled with the turnips, garlic and sometimes a ham hock for flavor. I use half and half chicken/poultry stock and water. We make our own stock and freeze it in quart bags instead of the canned type.

I haven't found that turnip greens are good unless they are boiled. They are far too bitter if they are steamed or lightly sauteed. (my taste, not everyone's).

Check around here. Somewhere on here someone posted a recipe for a mushroom and spinach medley. It is awesome! We fix it all the time and everyone of our guests have loved it.

I've been slowly trying out different kinds of greens, usually by buying them frozen so I don't have to deal with the bitter problem. I found the turnip greens to be not so good and somewhat tougher than spinach and collards, but one night I stuck a few in a Chinese chicken & veggie stirfry, and they were just fine.
