LA weight loss program - 3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

Anyone out there join the LA weight loss program in Toronto or Mississauga?
Can you tell me what the price to join the program and is the purple the best way to go? I dont want to spend a lot of money to buy bars etc.

I am not in Canada but if you do LAWL w/out the bars you'll be on the red program at first....There are a couple of chickies on here from Canada try posting in the Losers and Friends for Nov. and I'm sure they will find ya'!

I personally love the LAWL program and am finding it a healthy way to lose weight and the acountability is what keeps me going! Good Luck!

I am in the Hamilton area, and there is at least two others I know from Ontario on the board. I got my program on sale ~$7/week. I believe the regular price is about $12/week, but I know that they have sales all the time. I am not sure which plan is correct based on weight. I believe you would be on purple with the lites? Anyone?

I'm also not in Canada, but as far as the plan goes, you are pretty close to where they put me on purple to start. You don't have to do the bars, they can put you on an all food plan, then they would just move you up to red.

How long does the program last and what are the extras you pay for except bars?

Nal- the program lasts as long as you want it. You set your goal and they base it on 2 lbs. a week. So if you are at 220 and want to get down to 150. You would buy 35 weight loss weeks and then probably 6 stabilization weeks and then 52 maintenance weeks. You can set a higher goal at first so that the total isn't so much and then you can buy extra weeks later on when they have a good sale. Outside of the weeks, you don't have to buy anything else from them ever again. The supplements, lites and other foods are completely your choice. The counselors work on commission, so they are going to try to sell them to you, but you don't need them to succeed and don't let them make you think otherwise.
