Default Anyone here on Slim Fast?

Hi!

I'm excited about starting monday on the slim fast plan. I've done it

Are there any others here who are as well?

I don't follow their plan. I follow my own which is basically calorie counting with eating as much healthy food as possible. I do have one shake a day at lunch time though and enjoy it!

I use to do it. It worked really well. Now that I am back yet again on a diet I found a different method that works much better for myself so I chose not to do it this time.

I just started the slim fast on Monday. I've been following it and it's been hard for me. I think i'm gonna change it up a bit. Maybe it's the way i'm doing it that is hard i'll wrtie below what i had for the past days.

Monday
Can of Slim Fast for breakfastI woke up at 1pm
Walked for 1 mile
And had dinner at 7pm
For dinner i had 3 Chicken drumsticks Skinless backed
1 scoop of rice and a sweet potato with a lil butter and salad
later i had a protien meal replacement bar

Tuesday
shake for breakfast (2pm)
Didn't walk this day cause i got sick (very bad cold)
6pm had dinner which we ordered out and i had a salad with tomatoes with fresh mozzerella in oil and vinegar
8pm had 10 crackers with tuna
had a meal replacement bar at 10pm

Today
Shake for breakfast (2pm)
and a 1/4 of Mcd's salad with hardly any dressing cause i was full
It's now 4:45 and i'm a lil hungry and i dont know what to eat

I'm not a fan of chicken but i'll eat it if it's baked with alot of seasoning and i love my carbs and i've been cutting it down alot.

If anyone has and tips please feel free to let me know. I'm trying to lose weight and i'm trying to do it the right way. It seems very hard but i hope that the end result will be worth it.

I'm a stay at home wife batteling depression. I refuse to take medication for it because addiction runs in my family. I'm taking St johns wort and i'm waitng for it to kick in. It takes a month or so. Any ideas and info would be greatly appreciated.

I think you need to eat more then that. I'd go to slimfast's website and register and they have meal plans you can even custimize them. It's really cool. I'd try to do that.

I've been on SlimFast Optima for since 11/26 & so far, I am very happy with the results! I needed a jump start after Thanksgiving and the shakes are surprisingly filling. I usually mix the French Vanilla with a cup of frozen strawberries for my lunch smoothie or pour it into a diet Pepsi to taste like an ice cream float (it works!). Since my first day on SF, I have lost 7 lbs without too much effort, so count me as a happy customer

Hi, I just wanted to say that I've been using Slim Fast Optima powder shakes with skim milk now since August and have lost about 16 pounds, a little more than half of what I want to lose. (I've also been exercising 3 times a week and have built muscle.) I am pleased with the 2 different chocolate shakes but haven't found any other products of theirs that I like much. It is good to have a meal bar in your purse, though, just in case.

Has everyone seen their new online format, started Jan 1st? It's interesting.

I use their "tracker" pages because they are fast to use (activity, water, nutrition). I like that they show actual pictures of a sample day's food - guess I am a visual learner! But I usually combine "snack" into meals and put half a banana into each blended chocolate shake with a half sandwich (of deli turkey, or egg salad, or tuna salad, with lettuce on wheat bread). That is my breakfast and my lunch most weekdays. Then I eat supper with the family. I sometimes can do a Slim Fast meal once or twice on weekends, too.

I like the idea of the frozen strawberries in the Vanilla one. That might be a good change for me. I'm not bored, but variety would be good - that's a lot of bananas!

The whole idea of the "buddy" system they have is just no help to me. Why try to find only specific buddies and miss any other chat? They sent out a survey and I took it and suggested that they ought to have actual chat, but I doubt if they will.

Anyway, good luck to everyone who is doing Slim Fast. It is very simple to remember and nothing particularly special to buy, so it is right for me.
