Hello,
I am new to this message board. I joined LAWL on Thursday. I lost 4 pound after the juice. I have samples of the lite bars. My question is, does anyone know what the nutritional facts are of the bars? I was blown away today when I ate my first one and looked at the label for the facts. Yeah, there are none. This is a bit disturbing to me. I have a big family and do not really want to invest any more $$$. Are there normal foods you can substitute? Thank you for all of your wise words, you are giving me hope
Just tell your center you do not want to do the Lites and they will up your food plan by a color to give you more food. Or you can substitute other bars (comparable bars are Luna and Kashi GoLean Crunchy). I can assure you they will try very hard to convince you to do their bars--remember--the choice is yours alone. If you have a hard time saying no tell them you can't do soy products then there's no argument. There are plenty of gals here that do the bars and plenty that do not and all have great success. Good Luck and congrats on your losses so far.
Thanks again. I did not really know how to navigate this site at first, and posted in a few different places. I appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions in all of those places I go tomorrow, so we'll see how they respond when I tell them I do not want to purchase a quantity of bars. I DO like them, but I am not commited to using them everyday.

Nicole - First of all, WELCOME!
But... you have to make a decision to use the bars (theirs or other substitutes) or not. If you won't use bars, you will be put on an all food plan. If not, you will be put on a different plan. So you do have to commit to one or the other. However... you can always change your mind and be moved to a different plan too. It's just that you have to have two bars a day or no bars. You can't have one bar on Monday, no bars on Tuesday, two bars on Wednesday and Thursday, etc.
My COD continues to tell me it's the soy that helps with the weight loss. After typing the ingredients in this msg, I question how much soy is really in these bars
Hello Ladies,
I talked with my DH this morning at length, as he is always good about letting me bounce my thoughts off of him. I think what I am going to do is buy a one month supply of the bars........if that is an option. That way, I can continue to keep it simple while I try to change my habits. If I decide I love them, and cannot do it without them, I will purchase them later. I am not going to do the supplements at this time. I am not really into supplements, as I did abuse them for a spell when I was younger. I am older and wiser now, and very much more health conscious, so I am keeping that option open. As for right now, I am going to try it without. I have an appt. at 3:00 today, so I will let you know how it goes. Thanks for all of your advice!!!
WTG Nicole - Sounds like you have a plan and a very supportive DH. Both very good tools to have during this journey. The COD will to tell you that you only get the bulk discount once, but just so you know, they always seem to come up with "specials" when I buy them. I did what you are doing and didn't get any supplements and only a month of Lites. Turned out I like them so I still use them. You're informed and committed. You will do great.
