Hi I am new here sort of, I thought I was a member a while ago but haven't been around and forgot my username. Any way, I was looking for diet advice and remembered this board so I thought I'd stop in and see what was happening.
Currently I am not following any formal diet plan. But I have tried several - 3D, WW, South Beach, The Makers Diet, Fat to Muscle Diet and Atkins, that is all I can think of right now along with just about every over the counter pill you can name. None of them have worked for me. I did loose 15 lbs. doing WW and Curves but it took me 9 months to do it that was the only diet I had any success with. That was 2 years ago and of course it is back along with lots more. I tried going back to WW last year but didn't loose an ounce after three months and decided I was wasting my money.
Every time I visit the dr - about every 3 months, he says you gained weight again. I say no kidding, why!!!!!!!!
I've had my thyroid checked three times in the past year and it always comes back normal - so he tells me.
I am trying to figure out what my next diet strategy is going to be. I really have got to find something that really works. I have about 50 lbs. to loose right now. But like I said for some reason it just keeps going up, got to find some way to stop it.
