Default Another TO question

Is it necessary to eat the same protein all day long? Today I had egg beaters for breakfast and eggs for lunch, do I have to have eggs for dinner or can I switch to chicken?

Thanks!

The sheet from COD says the same protein all day. You can do a different protein each day of TO, but it has to be the same protein for the whole day. Also, I met with the manager yesterday at WI and she reiterated that for me. (sorry - I know it's not the answer you wanted)

I have absolutely no advice - I ate 3 servings of egg beaters yesterday and enjoyed it. But today, I had chicken and - oh - was it good. Felt gourmetish after an all day egg day yesterday. But the scale sure was good to me this morning!! It's worth it and you can do it!

I figured out what to do. I'm making hard boiled eggs which I'll slice and put on a bed of lettuce. Yum. The Knudsen's is actually delicious! I'll be doing this TO thing again in the future.

Thanks for the info!

Dinner was delicious though I'm sure I've turned myself off of eggs for quite a while! I am soooo happy TO is almost over. Any advice about how to keep these pounds off? Can I go right back to my regular eating tomorrow morning?? I have never been so excited about waking up to breakfast before. Can't wait to have my Kashi cereal with blueberries and skim milk. Yum!

Yes - go back to your regular program tomorrow. I'm back on it today and hoping the weight stays off. We'll see. For the next few days I am using a slim down (or you can use a SlimFast Hi protein I think is the supplement) in place of 1 starch and 1 protein. My center swears that it's the extra soy that helps weight loss. I still think it's calories and exercise, but I'm going to do exactly like they say and if I don't lose, they will have their dieticians look at my journal and see what's not working. Good luck. Enjoy your day - hope you have chicken or something like that for today!

Thanks, Joni. I think I'll do the same.
