Default vacation ruined everything... please help

Hello all,
I am on vacation right now, but after stepping on the scale this morning (there is one in our hotel room) I had to get online immediately. I started LAWL 2 weeks ago weighing 145 lbs. (I am only 5'1") and lost 4 lbs. The last few days I have been horrible, starting 2 days before I even left for vaca. THis morning I weighed 146, which is more than when I started! Ugh... I need advice for when I get home... I have to get this weight plus more off asap. Also, the LA lite bars are making me crave sugar and junk food and leading me to binge eat. Should I try the shakes instead?
I am disheartened but know I have to buckle down when I get back. Please help... thanks

Default You'll be fine!

I just recently did the same thing. But, don't let it get you down! Instead...just try to get more exercise in and try to drink a bit more water. Remember, LA Weight Loss restricts a lot-and when you go off a bit- of course it is going to look worse on the scale than it really is. It is impossible to gain 4 lbs in a day or so--remember..3500= 1 lb. So, just try to maintain and when you get back make yourself promise to kick some butt! Enjoy your vacation and don't waste it beating yourself up.

Trust when I say we all have and will experience this in our journey. Just last week I went through this. With the advice and motivation of the ladies here, I got back on track and so will you. Just get back on the program.

Snowbunny - Don't stress about the food. You are on vacation and this is YOUR time. You don't need to be stressed when you are trying to relax. Eat when you're hungry, and stop when you are full. Eat what you want. If you want that special dinner, have it. If you want that special dessert, have it. But eat it slowly and really savor it. Nance is right about the water retention. When I went on my cruise in June I put on 6.5lb in one week. I did TO the day I returned and lost 5.5lb that week. I lost the other pound the next week. Enjoy yourself and do TO when you return.

I'm new, so don't know much, but I like Cassi's train of thought. Plus, remember different scales on different types of surfaces can produce fluctuations that may not be accurate.

Snowbunny - Take a deep breath! Now, relax. AND STAY OFF THAT SCALE!!! Enjoy your vacation and deal with it when you return. Yes, the scale could be wrong. Yes, you may have gained a little, but the bottom line is - YOU'RE ON VACATION!!! Now, make some good choices, remember you don't have to finish everything on your plate, drink plenty of water and stay away from the salt! You'll find out when you return that salt will MAKE you retain water and once you get salt back under control, the extra pounds will be under control too!
We're here for ya!

Thank you guys so much for the support! I got back from vaca, and drank tons of water all day. As soon as I read your posts I let it all go and I'm ready to kick some butt, as was suggested! I'm not going to the COD until Wednesday, so I have a whole other day to get rid of the salt! Thanks everyone!
