Default New Here

I just wanted to introduce myself. I live in Barrie, Ontario Canada, and have 2adorable little boys aged 22 months, and 4 months old. I have been heavy since I was about 13 years old and am really tired of being FAT!!! I lost some weight back a few years ago, but since having the kids, have put it back on.
I am looking to lose 80 lbs. I started already trying to change my eating habits and yesterday tried to work out a bit before the baby woke up wanting to be fed! I have the WATP 1, 2, and 3 mile walk DVD and we just bought an exercise bike. Yesterday I got to .75 of a mile on the DVD and today I did 2 kilometres on the bike. It doesnt sound like a lot, but I am pretty out of shape, and looking to greatly improve on that.

Anyways, I hope to meet some people who can help encourage me and whom I might be able to help as well!

Default I'm new to this board too.

Hi there. I just wanted to introduce myself as well. I am from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I am a 29 year old mother of 2, one girl (9), and one boy (3). I have been working at losing weight for the last year and 3 months. I have so far lost almost 60 pounds. It has by no means been easy, but the hard work has been worth it. Being a working mom makes it difficult to take the time to care for myself and look after my own needs. A time finally came after having my son and then just feeling totally unhealthy, that I knew that I needed to get in better shape, not only for myself, but for my children as well. I wanted more energy and stamina to do more activities with them. I still don't have nearly as much energy as they do, but losing the weight has definitely helped. I wish you the best in your journey. Take it day by day. Any activity, no matter how little you feel you are doing, is better than doing nothing. Take care and all the best!
