Talking I can't believe it

After 4 months of not losing a single pound, I step on the scale and I suddenly lost 6 pounds in one week. @_@ I didn't really do any different. I didn't even go to the gym at all that week. Yet I was very active, school, house work, helping my aunt move.. and gobs of other things. so even though I didn't hit the gym, I got a work out of sorts.
I also noticed that I ate a little less than I use to. I try to keep my calories up over 1400-1500 because when I had it at 1200-1300 I wasn't losing a thing. So maybe that was another factor, even though anything under 1200 seems to be not enough for one my size.

Anyways. I'm so happy that I lost the 6 pounds and I'm going to try extra hard to keep it off too and lose more ^_^ I hope it won't take another 4 months. @_@

Good for you! And also good for you for sticking with it...that must have been very difficult to go 4 months without losing anything! I think I'd lose my mind....honestly!

WTG Have you been taking your measurements? Maybe you were losing inches instead of weight. A chick in the 20-somethings group hadn't been losing for quite awhile, she took her measurements and had lost 6 inches total since the last time she measured!
Keep up the dedication and hard work

WTG on the 6 lb. loss, that must feel incredible after such a frustrating stall. Congratulations.

Congratulations! Sometimes when we just forget about trying so hard and stop focusing on losing weight, that's when it happens! Just keep eating healthy things and keep up your nontraditional work out. Good luck!

Congrats!!!!! Keep up the good work!

Weight loss isn't linear -- it seems that sometimes it takes a while for the fat to get the message to leave, already! It may not have been anything you did this week, but all those previous good behaviors. After all, you probably didn't have a 21,000 calorie deficit just this week (3500x6).

I think this is how the scale works! It's It kills you when you plateau, but then you have great days like this.

Yay! thanks everyone. I'm trying hard not to not gain it back @_@ I lost it so fast I have this fear that it'll just come right back if I slip.
but I'm trying not to stress too much about it ^^
