Default Any subs for the LA lite shakes?..

I'm finding that a dollar per shake is on the spendy side. I also found that I can do these shakes w/a fiber powder in them, plus a frozen unsweetened fruit, and call it breakfast, Or snack..and does not mess me up like the bars. Thanks buds.. focused~

If you are really unfomfortable using the bars or the shakes due to "issues", you should tell the COD and have them switch you to an all food plan. That way you know you're getting enough calories in, and everything is out in the open. If the counselor gives you a hard time, go to the center manager. You shouldn't have to sneak substitutes to do the plan. They will work with you. And if they give you a hard time, call the 800 number on the products and tell them you're having trouble with your COD.

Thanks Cassie..but I am finding the shakes work out good for me as my out the door breakfast..with a fruit/smoothie..and they don't bind me up like the bars do,which i still carry in my bag for emergencies..what i was hoping for was a cheaper shake than the la lites shakes...which are way too pricy. Thanks for your always good advice, and support..Focused~

Focused, i don't think you are going to find a shake sub for the lites. It would almost have to be a protein powder. I personally could not live on the powdered lites alone, I have to mix them with something because I don't like them by themselves. I would do like Cassi said and see about going to an all food plan. You can make some awesome protein shakes and smoothies with other stuff too. A protein shake I really like is made with ricotta cheese, yogurt or vanilla soy milk, fresh fruit and ice.

Hi Deb, I checked on getting into another plan, and was offered the red plan with more protein,Etc. but the big factor with that is,If I get off using the la lites altogether then I am limited w/my contract w/l.a.weighloss..in that I would have to re-up,and pay more if I don't reach the goal in the time they put in my contract..If I stick w/the lites, then I'm covered as long as it takes to lose..that is why I decided to do the shakes more than the bars..I always mix a frozen unsweetened fruit with them, for that taste factor, and also it covers one of my fruit allowances, and I add some of that 'benifill'? stuff for fiber, another plus for me. It does work for me,and keeps me running smooth...just spendy. Nice to meet you,and thanks for answering my post. Have a healthy day!Focused~

Are you paying for the lites as you go or did you bulk them? If you are paying as you go, then you are probably paying more in lites than what you would pay if you were to buy extra weeks. Take the money you would spend on the lites and put it in the bank. If you need to buy extra weeks then you have the money, if you don't, go on a shopping spree for yourself. That's what I would do anyway.
