Default What's your favorite?

I am looking forward to hearing what OP food just "makes it" for you. I have discovered using the vanilla LA shake powder, 12 strawberries, 1/2 c soy milk, 1/2 c water, crushed ice, splenda, all in the blender just makes the evening time so much more bearable when my husband is eating his ice cream. I work until 7pm ,and the time after work was always my binge time.My shake really helps. Someday I will have to lessen the evening eating, but can't do it yet.

What a fab idea. I am going to have your shake tonight.

My fav lunch is a green salad with grilled tomatoes on the side, 1 triscuit crumbled on top, 1 hard boiled egg with a dollop of tuna made with fake mayo and celery in the middle of the plate. It is so filling!

The shakes count as lites, if you are on a plan w/lites. That does sound good! I may have to pick up some shake mix today too!

I have to say that since LAWL, I have come to LOVE turkey burgers - almost more than regular burgers.

My favorite evening time snack is frozen blueberries. I dump 3/4C or so in a bowl, sprinkle them with a packet of splenda and then dip them one by one in FF cool whip. It fills the hand-to-mouth act of eating something, gets one more pesky fruit in, and lets me have a sweet treat while the rest of the family may be having ice cream. My 10 year old son now gets a bowl of berries too, instead of ice cream!

sauteed apples are my FAVORITE treat. Dice an apple, sautee in butter Pam, add splenda brown sugar and cinnamon and let carmelize, then top with FF cool whip--YUM!!!

Ooh Boo'sMom! That sounds yummy! I'll have to try that tonight!

Last night I made a smoothie w/frozen strawberries, blueberries, a splash of milk, and 6oz of LF yogurt topped w/coolwhip. It was FABULOUS. Better than a bowl of icecream.

That does sound good. Have you try frozen bananas, frozen blueberries. It seems to make it a little thicker.

I also make a shake at night. I use the la lite vanilla powder also and I put in it 3/4 cup frozen Blackberries/ I just put a little sweetner and 10 0z of water. Makes for a great shake and I count it as 1 fruit and 1 la lite. It's great and very filling.

If you use the soy milk, it can be either a protein 1/2 or 1/2 dairy for the shake.

I'm not really a snacker, but I have found that tuna salad and veggie burgers are my "must haves", along with the LaTortilla Factory low carb tortillas (50 cals, 1 S for the entire tortilla), 4" wheat mini pitas (split in half for a great "bun"), and the Alternative Bagels. It makes me feel like I'm not on a "diet" since I can eat like everyone else.
