Allow me to introduce myself!
Hello there,
I"m new to 3FC. I have been doing WW since 9/21/05 and had lost 30lbs so far then due to a thyroid surgery due to Thyroid cancer and some follow up procedures causing me to be on a low iodine diet, I was hypo, without salt and miserable. So I gained about 10 of those pounds back. I'm back to normal, back to work and motivated to keep going to reach my goal.
My starting weight was 235lbs and I am now at 216. I do WW and I weigh in on Wednesdays.
I am a 32 year old Single mother of 1 son. He is the love of my life and a sport fanatic. So most of my time is spent running him around to soccer practice, soccer games, basketball and baseball too. I love seeing him succeed at all the sports of his choice and wouldn't have it any other way. I do get exhausted but I do find time for myself as well. I am a special Ed. Teacher (first year) so it's been a challenge getting situated in to my classroom routine. But i'm almost there. I love my job and the kids in my class and wouldn't want to be doing anything else.
I am a singer/dancer/actor in my spare time (when I get any). I have starred in about 15 musicals on stage and love it! I haven't done a show in about 2 years due to my son's soccer schedule which is all year round, but it is his time right now and when he is old enough to bring himself to practices and what not I will find myself back to the stage. In the mean time I sing back up for an Elvis Presely impersonator for fun and extra money and I do choreography for local community theaters. I love the ocean, dolphins, amusement parks and nature. I love hiking , boating (whether it's kayaking or speed boats and water ski's), and cooking. I am a very happy and optimistic person who likes to see the bright side of every situation. I survived thyroid cancer and I can do this!
