I have been slacking a little in recent weeks. Im still exercising, it just I have a biscuit here and a wafer there. You know the kind of idea. My recent trouble is hot chocolate. I have really got to get determined again.

I have a stone (14lbs just under) to loose by christmas, preferrably the beginning of December as I would love to go out and wear fab clothes on y birthday.

I just need a few words of encouragement really. Call me fat, that'd work! lol, well it did before!

Drink Options instead of hot chocolate, I put a smidge of milk in and some Splenda and it tastes better than the real thing!

At risk of being notorious around here for misquoting, someone said,
"Don't let what you want right now get in the way of what you really want"
Who said that? Its REALLY gotten me through some weak moments this last week. You can do it! Just think of how great you'll feel come December when you fit into those cute little clothes!

What about switching to fat free, sugar free hot chocolate--only 30 calories a cup. Or lately I've been drinking Numi brand red chai tea or Celestial Seasonings' Madagascar Red Vanilla tea. Both are very tasty with a little FF milk and sweet-n-low (or even with a tsp of sugar would be lower in calories than your hot chocolate).

You've been doing great! 42 pounds lost is a real achievement and not easy to do. It's been all I could do to lose 35 pounds. I can't call you fat because I'm sure you must look great. You come so far and have such a short ways to go to get to your goal; anyone who's accomplished what you've done can get the rest of the way there.

When I went off my diet for a while and was having trouble getting back on plan, it helped me to have someone to be accountable to for what I was eating. In my case, it was my personal trainer, but it could be anyone--a friend, your partner/spouse, in one of the forums here. You could arrange to report what you eating to them until you feel like you have things back under control. My trainer was not critical, but just knowing that I was going to have to report what I ate to him was enough to motivate to get back on plan. It only took a couple of days until I felt like I was in control enough that I didn't need to report anymore.

Shouldn't be a problem to have hot chocolate or some biscuits. You just have to balance it out. Have a lunch of all veg, like a salad and some fresh fruit in order to enjoy your HC & biscuits.

('m from the US, but I know what you call a biscuit is what we call a cookie)

It's not about deprivation. It's about balance. Your weight loss is brilliant! Not to worry, you will sort it out.

Don't punish yourself. Celebrate your success!

I havent gained any weight within my slacking times. I plan to start a very strick regime next week, full of eating healthily and participaying with the billys bootcamp exercise plan. On rest days I am going to run for an hour. So fingers crossed the next month will take me a long way to achieving my final goal weight. A steady loss of two pounds a week would leave me 6lbs to go.

It is great to know tho, that I can eat biscuits and drink chocolate and maintain my current weight with a small amount of exercise Shows I will be able to maintain the weight loss.
