I have to say.....Its really amazing seeing all of you getting it in gear to lose weight and get in better shape...its inspiring not only for weight loss...but life in general.
I only have about 10 lbs left to struggle with, prior to having 4 kids I was one of those people who I keep seeing referred to as "naturally skinny". I want to point out...there is no such thing. Thin people get on the scale regularly (or I used to take the zipper test) and base what they eat and do THAT DAY upon that number (or the pants getting tighter).....Its the same thing as maintainence mode of weight loss, and EVERYONE does it....especially those "naturally skinny" people. Dont beat yourself up that something is wrong with you, or that you will never be thin....its just like learning organization, its not something that anyone thinks to teach you, you have to figure it out for yourself. Thats what we are now training ourselves to do.
On another note....I kept seeing posts referring to "my Fitday" so i went and checked it out.....what an amazing tool!! It turns out that I am a FAT junkie....no wonder I cant get the scale to budge!! I honestly had no clue until i used the tools offered to track it. I thought I was doing ok, I dont eat processed foods, anything that is white, or junk...but dang 50% of my diet is FAT!! Its a free service, and WOW did i learn alot about my own diet....probably could help others as well.
