I'm totally new at this posting thing, in fact, this is the first post on any forum that I've ever made. This seemed like a really good weight-loss site though, and I thought I'd participate.
I've been on a diet for about a month, not any particular diet, just cutting the calories (trying for about 1400/day), journaling my food intake and exercising about 3x a week. So far it's going good. I'm at 173 pounds today and would like to lose about 25 more pounds. I'm 5'10" and until I got married six years ago weighed between 135-140 (I know, I was pretty thin). The weight has crept on and my heaviest was about 182. My main struggle is my voracious sweet-tooth, once I start with sweets it's so hard to quit eating them...
