Default Planning for Wednesday Aug. 3

Wow, already Wednesday, huh? I woke up thinking it was Tuesday--better that, I suppose, than thinking it's Friday and being disappointed

Anyway, I stuck to my plan yesterday, and here's today's menu:
  • sliced ham w/pineapple chunks
  • 2 packets reduced-sugar instant oatmeal
  • lightly salted mixed nuts
  • 2 turkey burgers w/ff mayo and bbq sauce (no buns)
My challenge for today is definitely the mixed nuts. Last time they were on my menu, I ate just about the entire can Of course, I was very hungry when I had them since I had them for lunch at work, so today I have planned better hopefully in that I will have the nuts as my snack between lunch and dinner. I'll just take a measuring cup of the nuts (maybe 1/4 or 1/3 cup, depending on how hungry I am) instead of the whole can to make sure I don't go crazy with them again. Wish me luck!

OKay this will sound horrible, but I actually plan to have a junk breakfast. (well, I've been terribly healthy lately and I need to have some sugar and fat!)

I will have breakfast at Dunkin Donuts. My sister wants me to get ice cream with her at Baskin Robbins but if I must have sugar then I'd rather have a donut with coffee.

For lunch, I'm going to the local japanese place for sushi.

For dinner, I'm going to have a salad (will that undo all the damage, teehee?)

Well, I was back at home for one week (before college starts), and I've been eating healthy- I ate a lot, but healthy foods like I normally do. So I'm going to be really happy about this last treat and then go back to saladville as always.

Well I was able to go on a 40 min run (with a little fast walking) last night after work since my appt canceled. Here is what's on the menu today...

L: Lean Cuisine chicken w. spinach sauce (200cal)

S: 1 plum, 1 piece light string cheese, 8 almonds (175cal)

D: don't know yet... I'm getting tired of fish and vegies. Maybe a nice spinach salad with chicken...

Workout: 1hr kickboxing class tonight @gym

I'm going to have the pb & j, I need something different and am getting sick of soup.

It's time to revamp my entire menu I think. I've been having the same breakfast, snack and lunches for the past couple of months. Thing is, I'm out of ideas. I need to be able to ideally make the breakfast at the weekend or be able to bring it to work with me (I go to the gym before work every morning). Any ideas for brekky food other than oatmeal that can fit my needs? Lunch I'm not so worried about, I've got ideas for that. Snacks I'm very boring with, it's been cottage cheese and pineapple bits for months now. Help me make some changes!

LynneA for snacks, I'd recommend apple chips. Nature's Valley makes baked apple pieces (chips) now and they are really yummy. They do well to snack on, like potato chips but have no extra sugar or anything. It's 45 calories for the pack.

I also like snacking on yogurt (Lite n' Fit) with some chopped walnuts.

I skipped the video this morning and did 10 songs on DDR instead. I feel like my legs have been turned into mush.

For b/f I had a sandwich - english muffin and cheese and egg and ham (and a slimfast).

For lunch I don't know what I'll have. If I can make it till I get home, it will be a salad with some peanut butter and crackers on the side. If I have to eat here...it could be disastrous (large vanilla malt disastrous).

For dinner we're having sushi!
