Default Planning for Friday Aug. 18

Well, today marks the official ending of my first 11 days on the planned menus. I am down to 285.5 as of this morning 11 days ago, the scale was bouncing between 295.5 and 296, so I'll assume I weighed 285.75 and count it as 10.25 pounds lost

Today starts my 3 days of eating whatever, but I don't want to get too crazy, so:
  • bowl of granola and almond cereal w/skim milk
  • lunch is so far undetermined--I know I'm going out with someone at work, so maybe they'll have a salad bar?
  • Subway 12" sweet onion chicken teriyaki sub on honey oat bread (or Panera if we end up going to the movies, since Panera is right next to the theater)

I'm up early so I'm going to go for a walk in the cool calm of the morning.
I have a new mixture to try for my shake this morning.
Cottage cheese and fruit for later.
I'm not sure what else
And I think we're going out for dinner.

I think it's cool that Jilly had planned to give herself a break after 11 days but now she's being mindfully cautious. New habits forming??? You go girly!

heheh, maybe that is the problem--maybe the scale is angry because you let puppy pee on it in the first place!

Thanks for all the congrats, guys. I am already way off course from my plan, though. The lunch place did not have a salad bar, but they did have an Asian bar, so although I avoided the fried wontons and bbq boneless spare ribs drenched in sauce, I did get a few pieces each of 3 different kinds of chicken (including "cashew chicken," which had some veggies and cashews in it), a veggie spring roll (it was smaller than the egg roll, so I thoght it would be a better choice?), and 1 small scoop of veggie lo mein. It sounds like a lot, I guess, but it all fit on one take-out plate and wasn't exactly piled high (I felt sick just thinking about some of the other people eating the mounds of food they took!).

Anyway, it was definitely more calories than I would have liked to have had, but it was still way less than I would have had before, and a few better choices as well. Also, my stomach has certainly shrunk because I didn't feel I could eat another bite when I was done, though I used to be able to eat twice as much Hopefully, though, I've satisfied my junk food craving with some of the sweet sauces on the chicken, so I'll be better tonight and over the weekend

Jill... I know what your feeling. Last night we ordered all this fried food and I starting eating it and I was like.... I used to eat this before? I started picked the batter off everything because I felt so gross, no cuz of the food but looking at the grease, and then I had some ice cream to try and get ride of the grease feeling (and I ended up throwing half of it away! woo!)... then we walked along the ocean and I felt 8 months pregant from all the food, I just looked at my boyfriend and said, "remember me not to order that again"

still learning... blah, least I didnt feel sick like I thought I would
