Starting south beach tomorrow and looking for some support. I have started this diet quite a few times that maybe this time I will get it right.I am 41 years old will be 42 in Oct and wt is 217 ht 5'3". I am married, 20 years and have a 21 yr old daughter and 18 yr old son. I live in Ontario Canada and I am looking for support to help with weight loss.

Hi Hommer, you sound a bit like me although I'm a bit older. I'm 47, have three sons and weigh about 200 lbs. I started three years ago at 210 went down to 170 and crept back up again when I stopped exercising during the last school year. I'm back to exercising now and the lbs are beginning to come off - I have to watch my intake too.
Do you like to exercise? What foods help you to lose weight. If you want to check in daily with food intake and exercise, I'm willing. I find that having an Internet buddy to lose weight with really, really helps. How's the South Beach Diet going?
