Default Whole/Superfoods 8/13

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Breakfast - Oatmeal with strawberries and blueberries, tea with vanilla soymilk

Snack - Kefir (peach)

Lunch - Whole-grain roll with leftover baked salmon, romaine, tomato, avocado, and a squeeze of lemon, with a quickie cucumber/vinegar/dill salad

Snack - grapes and a few almonds

Dinner - Roast chicken (no skin!), baked sweet potatoes, roasted beets, peas, and spinach salad (and gravy, too!! )

Dessert - Baked peaches with a little bit of amaretti filling

About 14 Superfoods, total calories 1783.

Hi Susie! This is what's planned for today, so far I'm through the afternoon snack:

B: Fuji apple
peanut butter

Exercise: 58 min walking to CFC, 3.1 miles

S: banana

L: romaine salad
sun dried tomato/garlic/olive oil dressing

S: smoothie made w/:
skim milk
Spirutein (soy protein)
Pure Whey whey protein (vanilla)
1 whole navel orange
(This smoothie was/is YUUUUMMMYY!!!!!)

D: chicken stir-fry w/ broccoli/cauliflower/stir fry veggie mix + sauce
strawberries & kiwi w/ light whipped cream

10? Lots, anyway, and lots of good fresh veggies and fruits.

Ack! We ended up going to dinner with the inlaws but I think the day was good anyway ...

For an early afternoon snack I had Kashi TLC crackers and hummus.

For dinner we went to Rockfish Grill and I had pistachio crusted tilapia with a purple onion/tomato salsa on top, and double vegetables. It was a chalkboard special, not on the menu. The vegetables were yellow squash, broccoli, carrots and zucchini. It was all very good.
