My dad is from Italy...so it is very natural for me to use extra virgin olive oil for most of my cooking, salad dressings ect.
So, my question is...when should I use canola oil? DO you use it as a cooking oil? I am assuming they have different tastes, right? As I said, I am a little clueless about other oils. The only other oil I have used is vegetable oil and that was to make cup cakes! Thanks.
Canola oil is similar in use to veg oil (but better for you). You can use it like you did with baking or when frying. Olive Oil is a low heat oil. Canola oil is used when you need to turn the heat in your pan up higher.
