It's wonderful wrapped in pita bread with a little bit of hummus or by itself. It's also WONDERFUL with toasted pita chips or flaxseed tortilla chips. Just limit it to a portion of the chips. It can be hard sometimes. It's a wonderful summer side dish for anything. I have even been known to eat it on turkey burgers or even on a hot dog. When I eat hot dogs 9 times out of ten I use healthy choice franks and whole wheat buns.
I make it regularly and serve it in a pita w/hummus or as a side dish.
It's really easy to make ... soaked bulghur, tomato, onion, fresh parsley, olive oil, lemon juice is my basic recipe, and then you can add or substitute other things as you wish. Cucumbers, nutmeg/cinnamon, green peppers, chickpeas, etc. My mom puts brown rice or wild rice in instead of bulghur.
