Congratulations! I didn't tell many people at work I was having the surgery, but soon it became the biggest non-secret in our office.

Oh I know that feeling... kinda exciting but nerve wracking at the same time...scary to boot.

Glad the dirty deed is over and its time for the count down whoot !

I remember SO much not wanting to deal with other people when I had my surgery. I didn't want to hear one word about their opinions about my weight, how I got fat, why I was fat, what I had done in the past, how many diets I'd tried, why I was having the surgery, how THEY thought my life would change, all of it.

I think its really hard to share with strangers that are close enough to have contact with but not really friends. On the other hand, you can find some real diamonds in the mix that are outstanding in their support and compassion and understanding who are just willing to walk a few steps on the road with you.

Good luck.

Congrats KO !! I didn't tell anybody until my decision was made .. not even my husband. Then I told everybody and didn't care what they said or what they thought. My mind was made up!! We're all different and handle things differently. Just do it the way you need to.
