Default Didn't go to the gym and I'm feeling like a bum!

Sigh... well, I wound up working late tonight and didn't get to the gym. I am trying to go every day so I could get into a routine of going every day. Since today was a bust, I am feeling like a bum and am a bit antsy! Which I suppose is a good feeling to have, right?!?! Maybe i will do something at home, like crunches or lunges.

Maybe a nice walk would be nice or a video at home... Don't be so hard on yourself, tomorrow is another day and just make sure you have a good intense workout.

It is impossible for every day to go smoothly. I used to rag on myself if I didn't get to the gym, but now I chalk it up to life. For example, I am retired, but have a seasonal part time job; the hours are such that it's very difficult to get to the gym on a regular basis for three months of the year. So I designed my exercise program to do full body workouts during that time period. That way if I miss a day or two during the week, I haven't missed out on the main exercises.

Life interferes; just roll with it. I know what you mean about feeling antsy; it's like something is missing.

Oh, please don't do that to yourself!

So long as you don't skip exercising frequently just for the sake of it, one day every now and then is ok. You're only human, and things do come up that we have to deviate from our plans every now and then.

Now, git back to work.

Everyday does not have to be an extremely intense workout. If you work late, try and just go on a nice walk just to get some exercise. Or you can do crunches and pushups while you watch TV. As long as you are doing just a little bit you will be fine. Keep up the good work.
