Default Help me find a name for my puppy!

For anyone who doesn't know, I have found my puppy and I get her in just over a week. I have spent the last week or two trying to come up with names, it seems everything I like my boyfriend doesn't. I don't want to offically pick a name until we have had her a couple days but I at least need some ideas! I don't want her to go too long without a name.

I am getting a female Boston Terrier. I want something cute and orginal and perhaps a little girly.

Attached are some recent pics (for older ones: http://www.saltypickles.com/puppy/girl.jpg)

Ohh! What a FUN thread. This is kinda cheesy, but it looks like a Cuddles to me! It might not in a year from now, though. Otherwise, she kind of looks like an Agatha or something to me.

Courtnie---I just did a "google search" for "puppy names". There are websites that just list billions of puppy names. I was overwhelmed...but maybe you will have more patience than me and look through them. Of course after clicking on your link, I think PICKLES is a cute name. LOL

She looks like a Sammy to me, short for Samantha. Keep up informed on what you pick.

Original, Cute, Feminine

Mudbugs - yes I too search puppy names and probably read at least 1000! I think it is funny that you mention pickles - like you can see my website, saltypickles.com (I guess I could then turn it into a website about her! haha) and there was a movie... Ladykillers I think, and the old woman had a cat named pickles (I had my domain before that) and I thought it was the best cat name in the whole world and I wantd a cat just to call it pickles! For my xmas (the year before last) my boyfriend got me a stuffed cat that looked like the cat on the movie to call pickles!

SWEEEEEET!

I agree with phantastica, she looks like an Agatha to me I've always been partial to human names for pets. My chihuahua is named Lola. I used to have a corgi mix named Elmer (she was a girl, but she looked like an Elmer), and another chi named Clyde.

I like Pickles too.... Sweet Pickles is even cuter! (and feminine & original for a dog name)

You could always wait longer to see what her personality is like.... My BF named his Kitty Cat "Imp" because of her personality - and she's almost 9 yrs old now & it STILL suits her!

I like Sunshine too for a doggy name

Some name I have thought about (that the boyfriend doesnt like):
Flower, Checkers, Daisy, Lavendar, Basil, Soda

Some names we both kinda like:
Dori, Brina (too human I think), Lilo/Stitch, Bubbles, Penny (penolope)

Oh and one more thing...if you are anything like me, you won't call her by her "REAL NAME" anyway. I have three cats. One is RORY. He answers to Roarbutt because that is just the name we started calling him, God only knows why. One is Katrina, she answers to WIDDLE (because when I got her spayed I felt so bad for her I kept calling her my 'poor widdle girl'). The other is Thumper...he thinks his name is Sompy because that's what I always call him...it is easier to say than Thumper.

So, maybe after you have her a few days, you will just start calling her something, and that name will stick.

I really like Pickles... but I also think Oreo is cute. It's pretty neutral in terms of names so maybe your bf won't have a problem with it? Good luck! Give us le puppy's pix when you get her!
