Default Planning for Thursday July 20

Tonight I am going for dinner with my friend (him and I are getting sushi!), his girlfriend, and my boyfriend - this is the first time I have got my boyfriend to go out and meet my friend! If I going over calories a bit I am not going to panic (kinda like a birthday dinner too I guess) - but I am going to do my best to stay under.

B- 1 piece whole wheat toast, hard boiled egg (thinking I might have two to add some fat and protien to my day - but I will see how I am feeling)
S- banana
L- salad (green salad mix, shrimp, bacon bits, low fat balsamic vingarette dressing), cucumber and maybe a carrot or something
S- green grapes
D- SUSHI! and tempura - I try and over calculate the sushi when I put it into the fityday.... I think the calories in fitday for it are kinda low

6L water and going to try and get up early again tomorrow and do 45 min on my bike

Have fun Courtnie! Sounds like a good plan you got there. I <3 sushi!!!

My turn: I need to "recover" from my 900 cal overdose on chippies so...

B - 1.5 cups skim milk + 1/2 cup Frosted Flakes

L - 1/4 cup rice, roasted veggies
1 8 oz container Dannon fat free plain yogurt

D - Beans and corn sauteed with spices. More yogurt.
Apples if I'm still hungry.

Um ....
a vanilla shake with psyllium
? for lunch and snacks .... more hard boiled eggs maybe
chicken and vegetables
walking and/or biking & gardening
weights for legs

That's a bit sketchy. I'll think more on it.

Sunni - I LOVE sushi too... just recently! But I like the fancy sushi, with some sauce and stuff in it - thats why I usually put down 20 pieces of sushi when I normally eat 12-16. In hopes to make up for any extra calories I may eat! lol

sotypical - yum! sushi is one of my favorite choices for eating out because it is comparatively low in calories (esp. if you stay away from fried rolls, rolls with mayo-based sauce, and rolls with cream cheese) so it fits easily into my calorie budget. Have fun!

My Thursday menu:
B - Flax Plus cereal with 4 oz soy milk
S - tea with soy milk and sugar, fruit
L - Chicken salad with apricots, mango, and yogurt dressing - yum!!
S - nutrition bar
S - fruit, nuts, or popcorn
D - grilled basil chicken sausage, hot dog bun, grilled onions and peppers, green salad
S - fruit popsicle

Exercise: 45 mins cardio at gym (combo of stairs, elliptical, and treadmill), 15 mins abdominals

- Barbara

I thought I liked sushi...but apparently california rolls aren't considered real sushi.

sunigummi-your 900 chippie binge is nothing compared to my 1000 cal Ben & Jerry binge yesterday. let's be good today!!!

Rosario - you can do it!!!

Another thought... I know for a long time I never posted my fitday in my profile. But finally I did and that helped me stay in control because I thought while now people are actually going to READ it! I dont care anymore, I guess because I am more used to it, but for a long time I was like, well I dont want to have to admit that I are that.... just a tip!

It's very helpful when folks post their fitday. If they ever need help we can all have a look and see what's happening.
There are some definite red flags for me when I see posts that ask for help.

I normally eat blah and blah for breakfast. Then I usually don't eat til lunch when I have about a half of a blah. Sometimes in the afternoon I have a handful of blah. And I'm so tired for supper I just eat a few bites of blah. A almost never eat after dinner.
Most weeks I work out about 4 days for about an hour.

Post away and give us the link. When we can tell what's really going on, we can really help. Did that sound directorial?
