Default What do you all think about starting a new "weekly" thread, instead of monthly?

I see the monthly thread is popping, but it gets so long... and when I'm away for a few days (like I was the past few days) I find it hard to pick up in that thread again.

Also, I've just been angry with myself lately, as I CANNOT seem to behave eating properly. I keep saying to myself, "this week is the week"... but so far, I haven't been faithful. I've kept off the initial weight I've lost, but I feel like I'm doing maintance, instead of trying to lose more. I mean, I eat great for at least two meals a day, but at some point, I sneak in a cookie, or piece of pizza. Today I actually ate candy! (Honestly though, I think that is because it's about that time of the month.) So I'm not gaining, but I'm not losing either.

Anyway, I was hoping we could start a new "food thread, keeping in touch" weekly. I think it might help me, and perhaps others feel more inclined to stay "faithful" if we look at our program in weeks.

One good thing about Sonoma I've found... even when I "cheat" I still try to eat Sonoma friendly the rest of the time. I'm actually eating much healthier than I was in the past. So I'm evening out my dessert with veggies.

It's good to see some new people joining this board too. Hopefully we can really make a difference to each other.

I agree!! Again I'm beyond new here so there's not a ton of weight behind my opinion but i do agree that it would easier to navigate. And some day when this board gets super busy we can do daily threads...

and Luv, that same feeling you've got is why I'm here. I was doing the same thing with the South Beach, I did great in the beginning when it was new and fresh and then started allowing all these little extras. And thus slipped into more of a maintenance. Very aggravating...so I feel for you and am more than willing to help keep you in line

That sounds great girls. Should we ask a moderator or someone if it can be a 'sticky' or do we want to just post it as a thread??

If it's a thread do we just take turns starting it? We could do a regular new thread on say Sunday or Monday...

I'm not totally new here, but new enough that I don't know the protocol for starting weekly or regular threads...What is everyone else thinking???

This sounds great to me too! I'm kind of new but not too new! Luv,I am just coming thru what you are doing, kind of staying on program but sneaking in a few things like the wine tasting etc. This is my thoughts on this......as long as we can stay the course and notcompletely throw up or hands and say thats it,I feel we will get back on track. Sometimes we have to break a little to get success. The whole point is not to give in and call it a day. I am taking a few days and going back on Wave 1 to break the cravings,then its onward and upward. These bumps are just that. Its how we handle them that makes a difference. PS............I am prone to be long winded

Default I think making it a regular thread would be good

Then, whoever gets here first on Sun or Mon can start the new thread. As long as we put a date in the thread title, I think we should be good.

I'm happy to hear others are on board w/this idea. I really think it's going to help me out more.

Great idea. it is nice to see the board picking up. I'll come along Monday or Sunday mornings and lock the old thread for you... since I am west cost chances are someone on the east coast will start a new one LONG before I get up.
